It is an effective form of cosmetic tattooing and works by implanting pharmaceutical grade hypo allergenic pigments into the chosen treatment area.
Sometimes Semi permanent make-up may be described as ‘Permanent’ makeup because the colour is being introduced into the upper dermal layer of skin and although the pigment will fade over time (naturally as you age) it will often remain in the skin even if not completely visible. HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Semi Permanent Make Up naturally fades and breaks down over time. If you wish to maintain the definition on your face then we recommend that you get a colour boost every 12 to 18 months.
DOES SEMI PERMANENT MAKE UP HURT?
At Skinlogica we find that most of our customers don’t feel any sensation, however others might feel a slight discomfort. We have found that many of our customers compare this procedure to having their eyebrows tweezered.
AFTER MY SEMI PERMANENT MAKE UP PROCEDURE, WILL I BE ABLE TO GO OUT WITHOUT EVERYONE NOTICING?
We find that after the procedure, the treated area will be darker, as the colour will be more apparent and intense. However this will only last approximately 3-5 days, until the area naturally exfoliates and the true colour becomes visible. You might have some swelling which is very common but this disappears within 24 hours.

I had hardly any eyebrows, mostly from overzealous threading and ageing. I decided to get the semi-permanent eyebrows done by Nisha. At my consultation, we discussed shape and thickness, I needed a thicker brow according to my face shape. The pain was bearable. Peeling did occur but that was part of the process and I was informed about this by Nisha at the consultation. Now my eyebrows look great and have thrown out all my pencils etc. They look so good and 100% better than pencils which give a more made up look. Now I just put my makeup and there’s no need to even touch up my eyebrows. They look very natural and I have received many compliments about them.
